With Haarlem Modular, you get the benefit of a 10 year working relationship we have developed with Geoff Fletcher Architects (GFA). The modular concept is something that this team has created to enable the combination of a bespoke architectural house and the economy of scale usually reserved for group builders.
By drawing on an established design aesthetic and details, we are able to offer a unique architecturally designed house, specific to your requirements without full architect fees. Throughout the design process we also select and manage any other consultants and local councils.
We will tailor your home to your site (or one that we help you procure) to maximise sun, views and privacy and create a spacious and comfortable environment. Your home will be carefully designed to maximise natural aspects of the site and be energy efficient.
The Process:
ISK: After a meeting to determine your scope, we come up with an initial sketch design that fits your brief consisting of a site plan, floor plan and a 3D block model.
DSK: Upon approval of the ISK, your design is further refined with the completion of the developed sketch design. Developed floor plans, elevations, cross sections and some material selections are produced.
Building Consent Documentation: Once the DSK process is complete building consent drawings are produced and the consent process is completed ready for construction.
Construction & Construction documentation: Kitchen and Bathroom selections are finalised, as well as fittings, fixtures, and other final details.
Pricing and contract: We provide an estimating service at each stage, enabling us to make key decisions with you throughout the process. We then finalise all scope and pricing and draw up a contract.
